Hi KASA Soccer Parents
Spring season is right around the corner and the kids are getting excited for another fun season to begin!
We realize that all families are very busy and have many other responsibilities, but we are asking that a family member of each child playing with KASA volunteer some of their time to help our soccer club succeed. We need a lot of help on our “Work Day” (which is at the beginning of the season, when we get everything ready for the season) and our “Clean up Day” (which is held at the end of every season to close down the fields). A few hours from each family would be greatly appreciated this year. Please remember that this is for our children and the more involvement and teamwork we have, the better the season will be for them.
Work Day to kick off the Spring 2014 season will be held on SUNDAY, MARCH 23rd from 1pm - 5pm.
Although we know that people are very busy, it has been disappointing to see the low turnout at our Clean Up & Work Days in recent seasons. We need more families to give a few hours to help our club, which exists because of volunteers. Thank you to the parents that did show up and help last season: it was very appreciated! Each person makes a HUGE difference! The more people that show, the easier & faster it will be for everyone!
NOTE - This year we are having a raffle at Work Day to give away a free season to a player. Each player with a volunteer attending will be able to have their name in the raffle. Additional entries can be submitted for each additional person that comes to help for a specific player!! So, the more people that come to support your child and help, the more chances your child will get in the raffle!
If you plan to attend the March 23rd Work Day you can simply contact me to sign up (see contact info below) via email/phone/text and let me know that you will be attending. If you email, text or leave me a voicemail: please leave me your name, your child’s name, and contact information.
There will be sign up sheets at the concession stand to sign up for Clean up day at the end of the season.
